Two roads diverged
I chose the one mapped in blood
If you can’t teach them
Split them open
If you can’t make them see
If they can’t feel then make them feel again
Piece by piece by piece
The night is humid with hatred’s breath
The air is thick with the pyre’s stench
Cut off their heads to spare their necks
Reseed the fields with their ash
Carve out their tongues, take your words back
If we don’t fight, we’re no better than them
Two ends converge
We chose the one inked in blood
If you can’t tame them
Make them afraid again
We are not prey, we feed
If they can’t feel then make them feel again
It’s their turn to live on their knees
I am the blood of the earth
That you found in the dark
By the light of the fire
A trap in the night
I am the blood of the earth
That you found in the dark
By the light of the fire
A trap in the night
The winter limbs are my limbs
And the moon is my eye
And it’s seen ends like yours

I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian) porcelainheart-
On the forthcoming Tombs album "All Empires Fall," the band expands their scope and range, balancing brutal riffs with melancholy melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 29, 2016

What an album! The only reason the album didn't elevate them straight to stardom is not enough people heard it. Modern classic - from start to finish. c1ch
